Accountant

Noorka Logistics, a fast-growing logistics and supply chain company based in Dubai, is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage day-to-day financial operations and ensure accurate record-keeping. This role is ideal for a finance professional who is passionate about numbers and thrives in a structured, fast-paced business environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle daily accounting transactions including accounts payable, receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, reports, and balance sheets.
• Manage invoicing, billing cycles, and ensure timely follow-up on outstanding payments.
• Assist with monthly and year-end closings, budgeting, and internal audits.
• Monitor and control expenses, ensuring compliance with internal policies and financial regulations.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and banks as required.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date financial documentation and records.
• Support management with financial analysis and insights for decision-making.
  
  

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2–4 years of proven experience as an accountant, preferably in the logistics or transportation industry.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books) and MS Excel.
• Strong understanding of UAE VAT regulations and other local compliance standards.
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines under pressure.
