Job Description

An Accountant - Reporting plays a crucial role in monitoring and analyzing financial reports to ensure the accuracy of financial statements and compliance with established regulatory standards. Responsibilities

  • Compile and analyze financial data to produce accurate financial statements and reports.
  • Ensure compliance with financial reporting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate with other departments to collect necessary financial data for reporting.
  • Prepare budget forecasts and assist in budget management analysis.
  • Identify financial data discrepancies and resolve discrepancies through detailed examination.
  • Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for internal and external use.
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes by preparing necessary documents.
  • Implement improvements in financial reporting processes and systems.
  • Analyze trends, costs, revenues, and financial commitments to predict future revenues.
  • Liaise with external auditors for the finalization of financial accounts.
  • Provide financial insights and reports to assist management in strategic decision-making.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of financial reporting and general ledger structure.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
  • Proven experience in financial reporting and preparing detailed financial statements.
  • Thorough understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
  • Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel for financial data analysis.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail to ensure data accuracy.
  • Excellent communication skills to convey financial information clearly.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to changes.
