Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports according to GAAP standards.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data and reports generated by the accounting team.
• Collaborate with internal departments to assist with financial planning and operational efficiency.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance financial reporting quality.
• Manage the internal audit process to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
• Maintain a comprehensive system for tracking financial data and ensure its accessibility for decision-making.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, providing management with financial insights.
• Coordinate efforts with external auditors during financial audits to ensure seamless information flow.
• Review accounting discrepancies and recommend corrective actions to management.
• Stay informed about industry trends and updates in financial reporting standards.
• Participate in financial meetings and present findings to management and key stakeholders.
• Contribute to special projects as needed to support the finance department’s objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
• At least 3-5 years of relevant experience in financial reporting or auditing.
• Proficiency in using accounting software, such as QuickBooks or SAP, is essential.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and other relevant financial reporting frameworks.
• Excellent analytical skills and a keen attention to detail are critical for this role.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team and communicate effectively.
• Professional certification such as CPA or CMA is preferred but not mandatory.
