The position of Accountant - Reconciliation 06M26 is a dynamic role that requires meticulous attention to detail and strong analytical skills. The primary focus is on managing and executing the reconciliation processes within the financial department. Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough reconciliations of various accounts on a regular basis.
  • Identify discrepancies between internal records and financial transaction data.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to rectify any account discrepancies.
  • Maintain detailed documentation for all reconciliation processes and findings.
  • Prepare reports on reconciliation activities and present findings to management.
  • Ensure compliance with established accounting rules and financial procedures.
  • Assist in the implementation of new reconciliation processes and tools.
  • Monitor financial transactions to detect and prevent discrepancies proactively.
  • Provide training and guidance to junior accounting staff on reconciliation tasks.
  • Collaborate with auditors during financial audits and regulatory reviews.
  • Analyze financial data and generate insights to support decision-making processes.
  • Continuously improve reconciliation processes to optimize efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in an accounting or reconciliation role.
  • Strong analytical skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving competencies are essential.
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with diverse teams.
  • Proven ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and standard financial regulations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve goals.
