Accountant Private Equity

The Opportunity

A private equity firm is hiring an experienced Fund Accountant to support a growing investment platform focused on private markets. This is a fully remote position, with a preference for UAE-based candidates, offering a monthly salary of AED 20,000 – 25,000.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual fund financial statements.
• Maintain accurate accounting records for investment funds and related entities.
• Process capital calls, distributions, and investor allocations.
• Calculate Net Asset Value (NAV) and reconcile investment portfolios.
• Monitor cash positions and oversee bank reconciliations.
• Coordinate with fund administrators, auditors, tax advisors, and custodians.
• Support year-end audits and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Prepare management reports and performance analysis for internal stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and fund documentation.
• Contribute to process improvement and automation initiatives where appropriate.
  
  

Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CPA, or CA preferred.
• Minimum five years' experience within venture capital, private equity, asset management, or a family office.
• Strong understanding of fund accounting principles and investment structures.
• Demonstrated experience preparing financial statements and investor reporting.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while managing multiple priorities.
