Accountant Accounts Receivable Specialist

Role OverviewWe are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant with strong expertise in Accounts Receivable and end-to-end accounting operations. The role will manage day-to-day finance activities including AP, AR, VAT, and reporting, while ensuring compliance and supporting month-end close, audits, and consolidation.

Key Responsibilities

• Accounts Receivable: Own the complete AR cycle – invoicing, collections, credit control, customer reconciliations, and ageing analysis. Drive DSO reduction and resolve disputes- Accounts Payable: Process vendor invoices, payments, and reconciliations. Ensure timely and accurate AP entries- Cash Flow Management: Monitor daily cash positions, prepare cash flow forecasts, and support working capital management- Financial Statements: Assist in preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements as per IFRS/GAAP- Management Reporting: Prepare MIS reports, variance analysis, and dashboards for senior management to support decision making- VAT & Tax Compliance: Handle VAT computation, filing, and returns. Ensure compliance with local tax regulations- Consolidation: Support group-level consolidation of financials across entities during month-end and year-end close- Audit Support: Coordinate with internal and external auditors. Prepare schedules, reconciliations, and audit documentation- General Accounting: Manage GL postings, accruals, provisions, prepaid, and month-end journal entries
  
  

• Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of AR, AP, GL, VAT, and financial reporting- ERP Experience: Hands-on with SAP, Oracle, Tally, or similar ERP systems- Accounting Standards: Working knowledge of IFRS/GAAP and local tax laws- Excel: Advanced Excel – pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis- Soft Skills: Strong analytical ability, attention to detail, and stakeholder management Skills: accountant,financial statements,accounts receivable
