Responsibilities

• Prepare and examine financial records and statements for accuracy and compliance.
• Ensure that financial statements and records adhere to legal standards and regulations.
• Analyze financial data and report insights to management for decision-making purposes.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing of transactions.
• Reconcile bank statements and ensure discrepancies are resolved efficiently.
• Assist in budgeting processes by helping departments track expenditures and plan finances.
• Conduct internal audits and assist in external audits to maintain financial precision.
• Prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with relevant tax legislation and submissions.
• Collaborate with the finance team to improve accounting processes and controls.
• Create and maintain detailed financial reports for various stakeholders as necessary.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes with accuracy and precision.
• Keep abreast of financial regulations and legislation that could affect organizational finances.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is preferred but not essential.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in accounting or a related financial position.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle is essential.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting and tax-related concepts and laws.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills for financial analysis.
• Excellent communication skills for conveying complex financial information succinctly.
• Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism.
