Job Description

An Accountant is a vital member of the finance team, responsible for managing financial records, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with legal regulations. Responsibilities

  • Conduct tax preparation and filing for corporate and governmental requirements.
  • Coordinate and complete annual audits, overseeing the audit process from start to finish.
  • Develop methods to improve efficiency and reduce risk in financial operations.
  • Monitor and report on accounting discrepancies, irregularities, and potential fraud risks.
  • Maintain a general ledger by inputting accounting data accurately and timely.
  • Assess financial operations to recommend best practices, identify issues, and strategize solutions.
  • Assist in the development of budgets and financial planning for fiscal periods.
  • Review and reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies efficiently.
  • Collaborate with other departments to streamline and integrate financial information.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field required.
  • A minimum of 3 years of accounting or finance experience is necessary.
  • Proficient knowledge of accounting software and familiarity with financial regulations.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Capabilities to analyze financial data and prepare accurate forecasts and budget reports.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work collaboratively across departments.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
