Job Description

The role of Accountant 04F25 is a critical position within any organization that requires the management and oversight of financial records and transactions. As an Accountant, you will play a key role in ensuring the financial health of the company by maintaining precise records of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liabilities, and other financial activities. Your analytical skills will be paramount in analyzing financial statements and reports to inform strategic business decisions. This position demands an individual with a thorough understanding of accounting principles and regulations, keen attention to detail, and the ability to communicate financial insights effectively to non-financial stakeholders. Working collaboratively with a finance team, you will contribute to the organization's financial strategy and long-term planning processes.


Responsibilities

  • Maintain and ensure the accuracy of all financial records and reports.
  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Coordinate the preparation of the corporate budget and financial forecasts.
  • Conduct reconciliations of bank and credit card accounts regularly.
  • Review and process expense reports ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Assist in the preparation and coordination of audits and tax returns.
  • Analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenues, and financial commitments.
  • Implement and monitor financial controls in accordance with procedures and regulations.
  • Develop financial policies to ensure operational efficiency and compliance.
  • Provide financial analysis and decision support to management and other stakeholders.
  • Identify and propose improvements to the current financial reporting processes.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required.
  • Proven experience as an accountant or in a similar financial role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and tax regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective reporting.
