As an Account Manager, your core responsibility is client retention, specifically the management and renewal of social retainers. Your role expectations extend to organic growth on the account as a result of building strong relationships with your clients, having a deep understanding of their objectives and product and delivery of excellent work.
Account Management & Client Relationship
Lead day-to-day management of key accounts, delivering Always-On social and strategic campaigns.
Act as the bridge between clients and internal delivery teams, ensuring clear communication, proactive expectation management, and on-time delivery.
Own client meetings, weekly status calls, and quarterly business reviews, presenting insights, strategies, and creative recommendations.
Benchmark globally and regionally to identify best-in-class practices, providing proactive recommendations to keep Tactical ahead of the curve.
Manage contracts, invoices, and credit control with Account Director support. Play a supporting role in pitches and business development across your account and the agency as required
Strategic Planning
Understand the client’s business, goals, and challenges.
Contribute to campaign strategies, content plans, and creative briefs.
Identify opportunities to improve client outcomes or propose new ideas.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting
Track the success of campaigns using analytics and KPIs.
Prepare performance reports and present insights to clients.
Suggest improvements for future initiatives based on data.
Business Development & Growth
Support new business workflows, including pitch strategy, proposal development, and client presentations.
Vet and qualify leads, supporting business development efforts to land new accounts and upsell existing clients.
Spend non-billable time networking and building industry relationships that contribute to long-term revenue growth.
Maintain and update client details and activity in CRM.
Identify organic growth opportunities within existing accounts and strategically position Tactical as an innovation partner.

Extensive experience in account management, business development, or a related role.
Deep understanding of market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.
Proven track record of achieving revenue targets and driving business growth.
Strong leadership and strategic thinking skills.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
