About The Role
Remitly is hiring for an Account Manager, Francophone Africa. This role will be driving excellent commercial, product and operational performance of the largest and most strategic money movement partners for North and West Africa. Such partners may include banks, aggregators, mobile wallets, regulators and other third parties.
There are two other dimensions to this role:
Assist with aspects of new partner onboarding working closely with the Business Development lead for the region and support stakeholder management for regulators in key markets.
The ideal candidate will have a strong functional background in strategic partner management with experience in the payments or remittance space & a strong understanding of the payments ecosystem across the North and West Africa region.
In this role you will work cross-functionally with product, engineering, legal, marketing, operations, finance and regulatory reps to evolve and manage partnerships.
We are seeking a candidate with a strategic perspective on partnership development and a proven ability to influence and negotiate both externally and internally.
