Job Description

An Account Management Executive plays a pivotal role within an organization, acting as the liaison between the company and its clients. This position involves maintaining and expanding relationships with strategically important customers, ensuring that their needs are fulfilled and expectations are met. The Account Management Executive is responsible for overseeing client portfolios, understanding client objectives, and driving the upsell or renewals of services for the accounts they manage. With a keen customer-centric approach, they work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that projects for clients are executed efficiently and effectively. This role is crucial for sustaining and growing long-term partnerships that are vital for the company's success.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain long-term, strategic relationships with key clients.
  • Understand the client's business goals and align services to support these objectives.
  • Identify opportunities for new business within existing client relationships.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure client projects meet deadlines and expectations.
  • Manage contract negotiations with clients to secure sustainable business terms.
  • Analyze client data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Coordinate client reviews and provide solutions to any issues raised.
  • Assist in preparing presentations and proposals for potential and existing clients.
  • Monitor competitor activities to inform strategic account planning.
  • Maintain accurate records of all client communications and sales activities.
  • Work towards achieving account quotas and revenue growth targets.
  • Provide feedback to the product development team regarding client needs and preferences.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
  • Three to five years of experience in account management or similar role.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to build rapport with clients.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and clients simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
