ACCOUNT DIRECTOR

The Account Director (AD) is the centre point of our Account Target Management strategy for the selected Strategic Growth Accounts (SGA). This person may already being engaged selling and representing GridSW into one of our ~350 Target Accounts (TA). The Account Director is accountable for Leadership / Ownership / Engagement and has the responsibility to ensure that the recurring SW license business with the account is growing through at least two lines of business (LOB’s) while being in close alignment with all relevant LoB sellers.

WHAT YOU BRING:

Excellent Customer & Industry Knowledge

  • You have excellent knowledge about the energy industry which builds credibility within your account.
  • You have Experience working in many different executive revenue-generating roles requiring strong business acumen.
  • You are able to identify and capitalize on opportunities for business growth, employing a detail-oriented approach to define account strategies addressing the individual customers situation by navigating complex sales cycles with a network inside the customer organization.

Leadership & Ownership

  • You leverage the strengths of your account team by bringing in a distinct growth mindset and encouraging a deep understanding of client needs to ultimately grow the recurring SW license business through at least two lines of business (LOB’s) significantly.
  • Your leadership and ownership of the account are role model for the GridSW organization, gained from a 5-10 years proven experience working in a commercially focused Account Management/Director/Lead position. You may have already managed, coached and/or led a small team of Account Managers in a player/coach capacity or are looking for this next step up into leadership.
  • You lead, coach, and facilitate communication between internal and customer teams to drive account growth towards a distinct goal while growing champions within the organization.
  • You are demonstrating ownership by owning and executing account plans, strategies, and sales programs, and fostering customer intimacy that is built and nurtured with strategic growth accounts.

Customer Facing Presentations

  • Your product knowledge and ability to deliver excellent customer presentations are the key factor for your customer intimacy and high trust up t
  • o C-level of your account.
  • Your ability to gain in-depth insights in the customers strategy and investment plan allows you to identify and drive innovative and future-oriented projects. With your proven ability to map out accounts and align further strategic solutions you are able to solve business problems for the client.

Influence Strategic Decisions & C-Suite relationships

  • Your industry knowledge, your product knowledge, relationship building with C-Level, proactivity, and competence ultimately influence/shape strategic decision buyers are making.
  • Ability to bring in relevant industry trends into the customer success stories on innovation and digital disruption by applying challenger mindset.
