AC Technician

Location: Dubai, UAE

Job Purpose

Provide timely maintenance and cooling services to ensure optimum operation, minimum downtime, and maximum asset life.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintenance: Troubleshoot, service, repair, and test chillers, closed water loop systems, ventilation, and HVAC units.
• Preventive & Breakdown: Execute preventive maintenance plans and breakdown repairs (including overhauling compressors and replacing defective parts) to ensure continuous production.
• Administration: Complete ERP maintenance activity sheets, input data into the Asset Management system, and follow 5S and HSE policies.
  
  

Requirements

• Education: Secondary School Certificate with a vocational certificate in Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning. Sound knowledge of SAP maintenance software and AC motors/starters up to 150 KW.
• Experience: 3 to 5 years of AC engineering or electrical maintenance experience with chillers and cooling systems in a large manufacturing plant. Hands-on experience with microprocessor-controlled chillers, screw/reciprocating compressors, and air handling units.
  
  
• Skills: Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
