AC And Kitchen Equipment Technician

The Kitchen and AC Technician is responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of kitchen equipment and air conditioning systems to ensure smooth and efficient operations. This dual-role position ensures a safe, comfortable, and functional environment within the facility.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Kitchen Equipment Maintenance

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair kitchen equipment (Multivac, Frey, KG Wetter etc.), including ovens, refrigerators, dishwashers, fryers, and other appliances.
• Perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
• Replace worn-out or defective parts and components in kitchen appliances.
• Maintain a log of maintenance activities and equipment service history.
• Identify the root cause of repeated equipment failures and implement permanent solutions
• Coordinate with suppliers, service companies, and kitchen equipment contractors.

General Maintenance Support

• Assist in performing minor electrical, plumbing, or mechanical repairs as required.
• Collaborate with other technicians to address facility-related maintenance tasks.
• Ensure that all maintenance work adheres to safety and operational standards.
• Identify the root cause of recurring equipment failures and implement permanent solutions.
• Maintain proper records of maintenance activities, breakdowns, spare parts, and equipment history.
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment.
• Control maintenance costs and reduce unnecessary breakdowns and expenses.
• Support new projects, equipment installations, testing, and commissioning.

Safety and Compliance

• Follow safety protocols while handling electrical, refrigeration, and gas equipment.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies.
• Identify and report potential safety hazards in the kitchen or HVAC systems.
