Job Description
GEMS FirstPoint School is seeking to appoint an outstanding
A Level Chemistry Teacher to join our thriving team from January 2027.
For suitably qualified candidates, there may also be
opportunities to undertake middle leadership responsibilities, including
Curriculum Leadership, Head of Year, ECA Coordination, or Head of Careers,

Skills Description
The successful candidate will have:
A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry or a related
subject
A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS or
equivalent)
Experience teaching Chemistry within the British curriculum,
including A Level
Excellent subject knowledge and a commitment to delivering
engaging, high-quality learning experiences
A passion for inclusive education and the ability to inspire
students of all abilities
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a
commitment to contributing to the wider life of the school
