Warehouse Supervisor

Role Overview: The Warehouse Supervisor leads day-to-day warehouse operations to ensure accurate, safe, and on-time receipt, storage, picking, and dispatch of goods. The role drives productivity, inventory accuracy, food safety compliance, and team discipline while supporting service level and cost targets across ambient, chilled, and frozen environments.   Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily warehouse operations including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and dispatch activities.
• Allocate manpower and equipment per shift to ensure orders are processed within designated timelines and productivity targets are met.
• Ensure full adherence to food safety, hygiene, and HSE standards, with a focus on maintaining cold-chain integrity.
• Monitor picking accuracy and order fulfillment, implementing immediate corrective actions for discrepancies.
• Manage inventory accuracy through cycle counting, stock reconciliations, and prompt resolution of variances.
• Drive team productivity through daily briefings, effective coaching, task assignment, and on-the-job training.
• Uphold discipline and Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) compliance in all warehouse processes.
• Coordinate with Transport, Sales, and Planning departments to address operational issues and manage urgent order priorities.
• Investigate incidents, damages, shortages, and delays, implementing preventive measures as needed.
• Maintain organized, clean, and audit-ready warehouse zones at all times.
• Track and report on key operational KPIs, including productivity, OTIF, shrinkage, and safety metrics.
• Support transactional accuracy in warehouse management systems (WMS/ERP) to guarantee real-time inventory tracking and dispatch precision.

• Proven experience as a warehouse supervisor in a FMCG, food distribution, or logistics environment.
• In-depth understanding of warehouse operations across ambient, chilled, and frozen storage.
• Hands-on experience enforcing food safety, hygiene, and health & safety requirements.
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams in a fast-paced warehouse.
• Demonstrated proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and/or ERP solutions.
• Solid organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interdepartmental coordination skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including shift and weekend work as required.
