Test Engineer

Details :-

Technical Test Analyst to support testing activities across the Enterprise Data Management (EDM) platform built on Snowflake, using ICEDQ for data reconciliation and validation. The role will cover data flow testing across layers (Raw, Standardized, EDM, Curated), MicroStrategy (MSTR) report testing between pre-production and production, and application testing for Appian Credit Risk Platform.

Key Responsibilities

Perform end-to-end data reconciliation across Snowflake environments using ICEDQ.

Validate data transformations and business logic across Raw, STZ, EDM, and Curated layers.

Conduct functional and regression testing of MSTR reports, ensuring consistency between pre-production and production outputs.

Execute application testing on Appian Credit Risk, identifying and documenting defects.

Cross-check application and reporting defects to identify common root causes, enabling developers to fix once and resolve multiple issues.

Log, track, and retest defects until closure.

Clearly communicate test progress, status, and issues to stakeholders.

Skills & Experience Required

Hands-on experience with ICEDQ or other data reconciliation/testing tools.

Strong SQL skills for Snowflake data validation.

Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL testing.

Experience in report testing (preferably MicroStrategy and PowerBI).

Exposure to application testing

Strong analytical skills to trace defects across data and reporting layers.

Excellent communication skills to articulate test status, defects, and dependencies clearly.

Ability to collaborate with developers and business teams to accelerate defect resolution.
