DESCRIPTION:


As a Technical Application Specialist at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you'll provide expert-level technical support and guidance for the Clinical Diagnostics Division (CDD) portfolio, including clinical chemistry solutions, Indiko analyzers, and toxicology applications, within the assigned territory. The role combines technical expertise with commercial acumen to support customers, develop new business opportunities, and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive sales of clinical chemistry reagents, Indiko systems, and toxicology solutions across the assigned territory
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in hospitals, laboratories, and diagnostic centers
  • Provide technical consultation and product demonstrations to customers
  • Support installations, validations, and application troubleshooting in collaboration with application teams
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), lab managers, and procurement teams
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations, proposals, and quotations
  • Achieve or exceed sales targets, margin goals, and KPIs
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to adapt sales strategies
  • Work closely with internal teams (marketing, service, applications, and channel partners) to ensure seamless execution
  • Maintain accurate pipeline management and reporting through CRM tools.

Required Qualifications :

  • Advanced Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Science, Clinical Chemistry, Pharmacy, Laboratory Sciences, or related field
  • Minimum 2–5 years of experience in technical sales or application support within diagnostics or healthcare industry
  • Strong knowledge of clinical chemistry, laboratory workflows, and/or toxicology testing
  • Experience with automated analyzers (e.g., Indiko or similar platforms) is a strong advantage
  • Proven track record in sales achievement and customer relationship management

  • High level of energy, ownership, and accountability
  • Willingness to travel across the assigned territory ( up to 50% travel time)
  • Ability to build effective relationships with customers and cross-functional teams

Languages:

  • Fluent in English (required)
  • Arabic (preferred)

Preferred Attributes:

  • Experience in the Middle East healthcare market
  • Familiarity with tender processes and distributor management
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, matrix organization
