Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Technical Manager to lead a team of Lead and Senior Implementation Consultants delivering complex e-invoicing solutions for global enterprise customers.

This is a senior people management role with strong technical authority — you will own team performance, delivery quality, and resource strategy while remaining a credible technical voice in customer, partner, and commercial conversations. You will operate at the intersection of people leadership, technical oversight, and business development, partnering closely with Sales, Product, Customer Success, and Partnerships to drive team and company success.

About The Role

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Performance Management

  • Lead and manage a team of 8–12 Lead and Senior Implementation Consultants, owning hiring, performance management, career development, and retention
  • Drive optimal resource allocation and utilization across concurrent implementation programs, balancing delivery demand with team capacity
  • Set clear performance expectations, conduct regular reviews, and build individual development plans aligned to career growth

Technical Oversight & Delivery Excellence

  • Provide senior technical oversight across all active implementation projects, ensuring quality, consistency, and alignment with agreed standards and customer requirements
  • Serve as the ultimate escalation point for complex technical issues across the team, driving timely and well-reasoned resolution
  • Establish and govern delivery standards, integration patterns, and reusable practice assets — SOW templates, estimating models, integration playbooks, and discovery frameworks

Training, Enablement & Knowledge Management

  • Own team training and upskilling on Pagero e-invoicing platform capabilities, implementation methodology, and country-specific compliance mandates
  • Maintain close alignment with Product and Segments teams to track new features, regulatory changes, and new country rollouts — and ensure the team is current and prepared
  • Build and sustain a culture of knowledge sharing through structured enablement programs, retrospectives, and internal documentation

Business Development Support

  • Partner with Sales and Solutions Consulting on strategic pursuits — supporting pre-sales discovery, solution scoping, effort estimation, and deal governance
  • Own accountability for timely, high-quality SOW preparation across the team, ensuring scope accuracy, commercial alignment, and delivery feasibility
  • Contribute to pricing strategy and commercial proposal inputs, drawing on delivery experience to validate assumptions and protect margin

Partnership & Alliance Enablement

  • Work with the Partnerships and Alliances team to assess the technical delivery capabilities of implementation partners
  • Define technical standards and certification requirements for partners co-delivering projects, and support onboarding and readiness programs
  • Ensure partner-led delivery meets the same quality bar as internal delivery

About You

Required Qualifications

  • 15+ years of progressive experience in enterprise software implementation and systems integration in a B2B environment, with SAP or Oracle strongly preferred
  • Minimum 5 years in people management roles leading technical delivery teams of 5+ consultants in customer-facing environments
  • Proven track record of delivering complex, multi-country, multi-ERP implementation programs from discovery through go-live
  • Strong working knowledge of O2C and P2P processes, ERP integration patterns (API, SFTP, HTTPS), and enterprise data formats (XML, JSON, EDI, CSV)
  • Demonstrated experience in commercial scoping, SOW authorship, and pre-sales solutioning
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills — credible with both executive and technical audiences

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in e-invoicing, tax compliance, or regulatory reporting programs
  • Deep ERP consulting background — SAP (FI/SD/MM) or Oracle (Financials/SCM)
  • Experience establishing delivery methodology, quality frameworks, or practice standards within a growing consultancy
  • Familiarity with international e-invoicing mandates and multi-country compliance landscapes
  • Experience evaluating and enabling third-party implementation partners

Added Advantage

  • Proven track record of building and scaling high-performing technical delivery teams while maintaining strong client relationships and contributing to revenue growth
  • Equally credible coaching a consultant through a complex integration design and presenting a delivery strategy to a C-suite stakeholder
  • Have shaped repeatable delivery tools — estimating models, playbooks, certification frameworks — that improved team efficiency and partner readiness at scale
