Your mission:

The Supply Planner ensures full and consistent availability of assigned product categories with efficient cost management. The Supply Chain Planner receives forecasts and based on these approved forecasts, plans appropriate stock levels. This will ensure stock is in the right place, at the right time, to facilitate the business to maximize sales and optimize working capital.


What you will do:


  • Check and upload forecast received from the Forecast Planner into SAP on due dates for SEC (Seiko Epson Corporation HQ in Japan)
  • Prepare for and participate in monthly Forecast Sign Off Meeting with Business Unit
  • Plan stock is available in the warehouses for sales (9 months view):
  • Review supply planning parameters and agree with SEC and Business Units
  • Ensure stock availability in all Epson Europe warehouses by analysing SEC supply chain and negotiating adjustments with SEC to meet optimal stock level
  • Create and monitor status of purchase orders to SEC to facilitate physical inbound of stock
  • Facilitate daily warehouse operation by managing production orders and stock transfers
  • Create constrained supply forecast based on the expected stock available (9 months view) and share with Business Units to adjust sales plans if needed
  • Create and publish a 2 month distribution plan for relevant regions
  • Update and optimize the distribution plan daily, also considering input from the Business Units, changes in delivery dates and shipping methods
  • Manage the Priority Order Management process by agreeing stock availability for a specific customer at a specific time
  • Prepare and analyse ad hoc and monthly recurring reports and take action if required. Standard reports include:
  • Demand and supply report
  • Slow moving stock
  • Inbound accuracy
  • Backlog report
  • KPI package
  • Monitor the end to end supply chain (from receiving forecast to delivering to customer) and highlight exceptions or concerns to relevant stakeholder or inform manager for action
  • Discuss and agree end to end operation due date calendar with Business Units
  • Review Master Data for product management in SAP and ensure any discrepancies are updated immediately
  • Continuously review processes and procedures and propose and implement changes to increase effectiveness and efficiency


What we ask for:


  • Relevant Bachelor or Master degree or equivalent experience
  • Demonstrated experience in supply chain planning.
  • Strong analytical skills with demonstrated experience in analysing high volumes of data and proposing relevant supply chain solutions
  • Good numeracy skills and attention to detail, when working with data
  • Demonstrated experience in taking responsibility for issues until solution and taking a step back to pro-actively come up with proposal for improvements
  • Good communication skills to explain issues clearly to various stakeholders and agree on the appropriate business approach
  • Good command of MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with an ERP system, preferably SAP
  • Fluent in English, verbally and in writing.
