Site Engineer

As an AE - Site Engineer in the Construction Civil department, you will be the on‑site champion for our steel building contracts, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, overseeing construction activities, and guaranteeing that every project meets Amanas high standards of excellence, sustainability, and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily site operations for steel structure installations, ensuring compliance with design specifications and safety regulations.
• Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and subcontractors to resolve technical issues promptly.
• Monitor project schedules, track progress, and implement corrective actions to keep milestones on track.
• Conduct regular quality inspections and enforce rigorous quality control procedures.
• Maintain accurate site documentation, including daily logs, progress reports, and material tracking.
• Manage on‑site procurement, material handling, and storage to minimize waste and delays.
• Lead safety briefings, enforce PPE usage, and conduct incident investigations as needed.
• Facilitate effective communication between the field team and the office engineering staff.
• Prepare and present status updates to senior management and clients.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, environmental regulations, and company policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on site engineering experience in steel building construction.
• Proficiency with construction management software (e.g., Primavera, MS Project) and AutoCAD.
• Strong knowledge of UAE construction codes, standards, and safety regulations.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to make decisions under pressure.
• Effective communication and leadership abilities to manage diverse on‑site teams.
• Valid UAE driving license and ability to travel to multiple project sites.
• Fluent in English; Arabic proficiency is a plus.
• Demonstrated track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
