Job Description:

We are hiring a qualified and experienced Site Engineer to oversee infrastructure construction works including roads, drainage, water supply, sewerage networks, and structural components. The ideal candidate will have 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in the UAE, with a solid background working for main contractors or engineering consultants on civil and infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and execute infrastructure construction activities on-site as per project specifications and timelines.

• Interpret and apply construction drawings (architectural, structural, civil, and MEP) to ensure accurate implementation.

• Perform surveying, setting out, and leveling works as required for the construction process.

• Coordinate daily site activities with subcontractors, consultants, and project management to ensure smooth workflow.

• Monitor site progress against the project schedule and promptly report any issues, delays, or non-conformances.

• Ensure adherence to quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) procedures and document control protocols.

• Oversee proper material usage and implementation of construction methods in line with technical and safety standards.

• Support in the preparation of daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.

• Maintain compliance with applicable UAE authority specifications and international standards (BS, ASTM, ACI, AASHTO).

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.

• 2 to 5 years of UAE-based experience in infrastructure or civil construction projects.

• Proven experience in roads, drainage, water supply, sewerage networks, and structural works.

• Previous involvement with main contractors or consultants in infrastructure and civil projects.

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings across disciplines (architectural, structural, civil, and MEP).

• Hands-on skills in surveying, setting out, and leveling.

• Familiar with construction materials, building techniques, and QA/QC procedures.

• Competent in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MS Office; knowledge of Primavera P6 or MS Project is an advantage.

• Strong knowledge of local authority requirements and international standards.

• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• UAE driving license is preferred.
