Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and creative Senior Urban Designer to lead the planning, design, and delivery of high-quality urban environments. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping sustainable, inclusive, and commercially viable developments, working across multidisciplinary teams on complex urban projects.

Responsibilities:

• Lead urban design projects from concept through to detailed design and implementation
• Develop innovative masterplans, public realm strategies, and urban frameworks
• Ensure design excellence aligned with sustainability, livability, and client objectives
• Provide design direction and mentorship to junior designers and wider project teams
• Translate strategic visions into practical, deliverable urban design proposals
• Contribute to feasibility studies, site analysis, and development strategies
• Prepare design guidelines, codes, and planning documentation
• Act as a key point of contact for clients, consultants, and government authorities
• Present design concepts and proposals to stakeholders and leadership teams
• Support business development activities, including proposals and pitches
• Work closely with architects, planners, engineers, landscape architects, and other disciplines
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure consistency and quality across projects
• Contribute to integrated design solutions across mixed-use developments
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Urban Design, Architecture, Urban Planning, or a related field
• Typically 8+ years of relevant experience in urban design or masterplanning
• Proven track record of delivering large-scale, complex urban projects
• Strong portfolio demonstrating concept design, masterplanning, and built work
• Experience working in international or multidisciplinary environments is preferred
