Purpose

The Senior Developer is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining high-quality, scalable software solutions. This role provides technical leadership through strong engineering practices, mentoring of less experienced developers, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and impactful outcomes.

What Youll Do 

• Developing and owning substantially complex product features
• Being a highly valued and effective member of the scrum team
• Deliver high quality, accurate and robust code
• Writing great code that other team members can learn from
• Mentoring and coaching others in the team for technical excellence
• Participating in code reviews
• Supporting and championing agreed development processes, tools and techniques such as design patterns, continuous integration refactoring and security
• Leading by example
  
  

What You’ll Bring With You

• Degree in Computer Science or related qualification.
• Extensive experience with developing web applications (full-stack, or back-end, or front-end)
• Deep knowledge of more than one of JavaScript, CSS, HTML5, Bootstrap, Ember.js, Angular.js, Java, C#, SQL Server, Postgres, Entity Framework, Rabbit MQ, Ruby, Rails
• Deep knowledge architectural patterns such as MVC, MVP, Micro-services
• Skilled at mentoring junior team members
• Passionate about software development
• A love for coding
• Thriving when working with other smart people
