Kearney, Senior Creative Designer (Maternity - cover role)


About the job

As a Senior Creative Designer within Kearney’s Dubai office, you will provide high-quality presentations in accordance with Kearney guidelines, as well as providing technical leadership for other graphic designers.


Reporting to the VP, Global Brand Studio and local Coordinator/Supervisor of Brand Studio (as applicable) you will be given the freedom to be yourself along with recognition for what you bring to the table, allowing you to make a real impact and be a true Kearney Original.

This role is a 1-year fixed term contract role and will be based remote in Lebanon.


Key responsibilities

  • Create presentations in PowerPoint using Kearney format guidelines. Show mastery of the customized Kearney ribbon buttons and shortcuts, providing presentations that are produced accurately and with good speed.
  • Work comfortably in client PowerPoint templates, fully understanding use of client colors and construction of masters
  • Actively participate in global Single Point of Entry workflow system. Communicate daily with India GSC Coordinators to take work, update GSC on capacity status and deadline concerns, etc.
  • Actively seek out special projects and take leadership role whenever possible. Encourage and stimulate project team members to produce high-quality and timely presentations. Provide follow-through to see that project is completed accurately and on time. Keep coordinators and management informed of developments
  • Create value-added deliverables using PowerPoint, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and other high-end graphics applications with light supervision and regular interaction with customers
  • Check work to ensure accuracy: run spell check, run Brand Checker on Kearney slides, review final pages, ensure correct number of pages is returned to the consultant and directions are followed (take responsibility for the job); ensure work meets its deadlines
  • Send feedback survey link with final deliverables to all customers, and review feedback monthly for improvements
  • Manage files electronically and with confidentiality a top priority
  • Utilize department database accurately and submit weekly timesheets via online system
  • Interact directly with consultant teams as needed to understand their graphics needs and fully translate their ideas into dynamic presentations and documents
  • Perform a specialized, specific role within Creative Services on a regular basis, which may be unrelated to graphic design work yet essential to daily operations of the department (e.g., training, back-up coordinator, etc.)
  • Become familiar with key Global Creative Services personnel and skill sets and offer collaborative expertise when applicable.


Other Tasks / Adhoc Support

  • Fill in for coordinator in his or her absence (where applicable)
  • Help train new employees on software, branding and departmental procedures. Mentor new employees when they need assistance or guidance, and work as a team player
  • Identify problems and provide solutions
  • Review Before/After slides for inspiration and improvement opportunities
  • Ability to visualize and create impactful deliverables for presentations on various mobile devices
  • Explain department capabilities and global workflow model to new consultants (where applicable)

  • Have a bachelor’s degree in design or a related field.
  • Have excellent PowerPoint skills. Intermediate or better skills in related Microsoft applications such as Outlook, Word and Excel.
  • Have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a deadline-driven environment
  • Have proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere and other high-end graphics applications
  • Have knowledge of online tools and ability to apply online technical solutions based on projects needs
  • Have excellent graphic design skills, creativity and ability to work with colors
  • Possess strong professionalism. Able to maintain confidentiality
  • Have good communication skills. Shows leadership in interacting with GSC Coordinators, other geographic colleagues, and sets a good example.
  • Are highly reliable, and has ability to be flexible when necessary
  • Are detail oriented. Able to consistently produce error-free work
  • Possess strong customer service focus. Able to handle clients and resolve conflicts effectively
  • Have strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Are a team player with the ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities.
  • Can take initiative to enhance skills and learn new software
  • Are able to work well under pressure
