Your Role And Responsibilities

Supporting front end service sales team at UAE and its associated countries with professional back-end support for MOSE-Motors & Drives services & Being the technical go-to person for internal and also external customers for detailed technical inquiries to ensure front end sales is supported effectively and ABB’s value proposition is strategically formulated

In this role, you’ll help run what runs the world, by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact.

  • Work model: {onsite )
  • Supports the local MOSE Sales organization and customers in determining the most technically appropriate and cost-effective solutions and in the preparation of demanding offers related to motors and drives service portfolio.
  • Prepares and supports in the preparation of technical and commercial offers based on customer specification requirements, local business and feeder factory indications, and Sales organization directives.
  • Analyzes customer needs and competitor offers through information from general market and the Sales organization
  • Performs lost proposal analysis, identifies potential cause, and recommends future actions in cooperation with Sales team and local business to obtain better future results.

Qualifications For The Role

  • Possess a deep understanding of Motors and Drives services business and portfolio, with comprehensive knowledge of competitor solutions particularly adept at managing complex third-party replacement and modernization.
  • Experienced in bid management and solution offerings, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and organizational objectives.
  • Actively lead energy efficiency-driven projects, delivering optimal selections and tailored offerings from the ABB portfolio to maximize performance and sustainability.
  • Proficient in managing Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with a focus on maintaining end-to-end compliance and performance tracking across the value chain.
  • Application knowledge to position replacement and modernization offerings for motors and drives.
  • Strong ability to interpret and negotiate commercial terms and conditions.
  • Proven track record of securing profitable, low-risk contracts aligned with ABB’s commercial guidelines.
  • Highly collaborative team player with a solution-oriented mindset.
  • Known for fostering cooperative work environments and driving collective success.
  • Skilled in using ABB Sales and Selection tools.
  • Foundational knowledge of drive-motor communication protocols supporting powertrain development and ABB Ability™ solutions.
  • Holistic understanding of motors and drives as a unified system.
  • Demonstrates strong ownership and dedication to tasks.
  • Recognized for thoroughness and consistently exceeding expectations to achieve goals.
