About The Role
Job Purpose
You will report into the Sales Operations Manager-MEA. The Sales Operations Lead is a regional role based in Dubai, supporting Bridgestone’s entities across the Middle East and Africa. The position works closely with Sales Managers, HQ Pricing, and the Logistics & Supply Chain Management (LSCM) teams to ensure the effective deployment of sales strategies that align with the company’s core values and profitability goals. The role is responsible for coordinating order collection and shipment execution, supporting forecasting activities, and preparing internal business review meetings. Additionally, the Sales Operations Manager ensures proper implementation of company processes and monitors local sales performance to drive operational efficiency and commercial success across the region.
Responsibilities:
- Strategy Deployment
- Align with Sales Managers to ensure volume, price, and mix targets are in line with the budget.
- Volume: Support the sales team in achieving shipment targets while optimizing the balance between volume and profitability.
- Price: Review special, new, or tender pricing and market-based price adjustment requests; coordinate all price actions accurately with the Strategic Planning department. Drive positive price variations versus budget and previous year.
- Mix: Coordinate with Product, and Sales teams to deliver the planned product mix percentages.
- Order Forecasting
- Lead the rolling forecast process, ensuring high forecasting accuracy by total and SKU level.
- Monitor sell-out performance, partner stock levels, and maintain alignment between sell-out and sell-in.
- Ensure partners maintain adequate stock coverage and forecasting accuracy.
- Order Management
- Monitor orders received from partners against plan (volume/contribution margin) and ensure mix accuracy.
- Order Execution
- Manage market priorities and address potential shortages, product, or sourcing shifts.
- Ensure accurate and efficient tracking of shipments versus confirmed orders.
- Process Implementation
- Ensure that all sales processes related to ordering, price requests, and forecasting are correctly followed and updated.
- Monthly Business Review
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to prepare and present monthly reports on pricing and product performance.
- Follow up with branches on action items and progress from monthly business reviews.
- New Markets
- Support branches in evaluating new market business plans, improving product mix, and analyzing competition.
- Coordinate internally to set up new partners within company systems.
Qualifications & Experience Required
Education, Master, Other Certification
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, or Economics.
- Certification in Sales Operations, Project Management is an advantage.
- Advanced training in Data Analytics, Forecasting, or CRM systems preferred.
Experience (Years)
- 5–8 years of experience in sales operations, or commercial management roles.
- Proven track record in forecasting, order management, and process implementation within a regional or multinational environment.
- Experience in the automotive, manufacturing, or FMCG sectors is desirable.
Technical Skills
- Strong command of MS Excel, PowerPoint, and data reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and CRM tools.
- Excellent understanding of forecasting models, demand planning, and sales analysis.
- Ability to manage and coordinate cross-functional operational processes.
Language Skills
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
