Are you an analytical and detail-oriented risk professional looking to make an impact within one of the UAE's leading education providers?

Taaleem is seeking a Risk Officer to support the effective implementation and day-to-day operation of our Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework. Reporting to the Head of Assurance, this role will play a key part in identifying, assessing, monitoring and reporting risks across our growing network of schools and corporate functions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the implementation and continuous improvement of Taaleem's Enterprise Risk Management Framework.
• Coordinate risk identification and assessment activities with business stakeholders and risk owners.
• Maintain and monitor risk registers, mitigation plans and key risk indicators (KRIs).
• Prepare risk reports, dashboards, heat maps and trend analysis for management and governance committees.
• Work closely with Compliance, Audit, Legal, Finance, HR and IT teams to strengthen organisational controls and governance.
• Support risk awareness initiatives, training programmes and the development of a strong risk culture across the organisation.

About You

Essential:

• Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Business, Finance, Accounting, Governance or a related discipline.
• Approximately 2 - 4 years' relevant experience in risk management, internal controls, compliance, audit, governance or a related field.
• Good understanding of enterprise risk management principles.
• Experience maintaining risk registers, action trackers or similar governance documentation.
• Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Ability to work confidently with stakeholders across different functions.
• High standards of integrity, discretion and confidentiality.

Desirable:

• Experience within a regulated organisation or corporate governance environment.
• Knowledge of UAE regulatory requirements.
• Working knowledge of the COSO Enterprise Risk Management Framework and / or Internal Control Framework.
• Experience supporting enterprise risk management frameworks and management reporting.
• Relevant professional qualification, or progress towards one, in risk, audit, compliance or governance.
• Experience within education or another multi-site organisation.
