Role Overview

We are looking for a driven and customer-focused Retail Associate to support our procurement operations by engaging directly with car sellers, negotiating competitive prices, and closing purchase deals. This role sits at the intersection of sales, negotiation, and market intelligence, playing a critical part in building high-quality inventory.

What Youll Do In The Drivers Seat

• Engage with a) individual car sellers to understand vehicle details, expectations b) Internal car inspectors to understand cars details that will explain car price to the seller.
• Negotiate effectively with the seller to arrive at a commercially viable purchase prices
• Drive end-to-end deal closure, including agreement finalization and documentation coordination
• Build trust and maintain strong relationships with sellers to ensure a smooth transaction experience
• Evaluate cars based on market demand, condition, and pricing benchmarks
• Work closely with internal pricing and operations teams to execute procurement process
• Maintain accurate records of seller interactions, negotiations, and deal status
• Ensure quick turnaround time (TAT) from lead to deal closure
  
  

• Proven experience in sales-oriented roles, preferably within multinational companies
• Prior experience in the automotive market is strongly preferred
• Strong communication, negotiation and deal-closing skills
• Ability to handle high-volume interactions while maintaining quality conversations
• Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to handle objections effectively
• Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  
  

• Understanding of used car pricing and market dynamics
• Experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply-side sales
• Familiarity with CRM tools and sales tracking systems
  
  

• High conversion rate from seller leads to closed deals
• Ability to procure quality inventory at competitive prices
