Responsibilities

• Supervise, lead, and motivate the front-of-house team, including waiting staff, hosts, and bar staff, to deliver outstanding service.
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, ensuring a smooth and efficient service from opening to closing.
• Manage guest reservations, seating arrangements, and the overall flow of the dining room to optimise capacity and guest satisfaction.
• Act as a point of contact for guest feedback, promptly and professionally resolving any issues to ensure a positive experience.
• Assist in the training and development of new and existing team members, ensuring they are knowledgeable about menus, service standards, and procedures.
• Uphold and enforce high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety throughout the restaurant, in compliance with all local regulations.
• Support the Restaurant Manager with administrative tasks, including staff scheduling, inventory control, and daily sales reporting.
• Conduct pre-shift briefings to communicate daily specials, targets, and important operational information to the team.
  
  

• Proven experience in a supervisory role within a high-quality, fast-paced restaurant or hospitality environment.
• Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and guide a diverse team.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on providing excellent customer service.
• A comprehensive understanding of restaurant operations, including front-of-house procedures and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
• Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
• The ability to remain calm and effective under pressure.
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
