Quality Engineer

ARENGY is a leading provider of recruitment and outsourcing services across the UAE. We are looking for a Quality Engineer for our AS9100 Certification project.

1. Project Background

As part of its growth and operational excellence strategy, ARENGY is pursuing the AS 9100 and ISO9001:2015 certification. We are seeking an experienced Quality Consultant to lead and execute all preparatory work required to successfully achieve certification.

2. Scope of Work

The Quality Consultant will be responsible for the development and implementation of an AS9100 compliant Quality Management System (QMS).

Key deliverables and activities include:

Phase 1: Gap Analysis & Planning

• Conduct a detailed gap analysis of current practices against AS9100 requirements.
• Develop a comprehensive project plan and timeline for implementation.

Phase 2: QMS Design & Implementation

• Define and document the companys Quality Policy and Objectives.
• Design and implement all required AS9100 documentation, including:

1. Quality Manual
2. Process maps and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
3. Work Processes and instructions
4. Procedures, Forms, and records control systems

• Establish a document control system aligned with ISO standards.
• Implement a risk-based approach to process management.

Phase 3: Staff Engagement & Training

• Train relevant staff on the AS9100 standard, internal procedures, and their roles.

Phase 4: Internal Audit & Certification Readiness

• Develop an internal audit program and conduct internal audits.
• Assist in the selection and coordination with an external certification body.
• Support the company through the Stage 1 and Stage 2 certification audits.
• Address any non-conformities or audit findings with corrective action plans.

3. Deliverables

• Gap analysis report • Full AS9100 documentation set (digital)
• QMS implementation plan and progress reports
• Internal audit reports • Staff training materials and attendance logs
• Final certification readiness report

4. Required Qualifications

• Proven experience in implementing AS9100 or ISO 9001:2015, preferably in service-oriented companies.
• Certified ISO 9001 Lead Auditor or equivalent qualification.
• Strong knowledge of quality management principles, document control, and risk-based thinking.
• Excellent communication and training skills.
• Experience working with companies in the UAE or GCC preferred.
