The Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for supporting the implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of the Quality, Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental (QHSE) Management System across warehouse and transport operations. The role ensures compliance with company standards, customer requirements, and applicable regulatory and international standards including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001, while supporting operational teams in maintaining safe, compliant, and efficient logistics activities.

Detailed Responsibilities:


  • Support implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of the QHSE Management System and customer-specific procedures across warehouse and transport operations in accordance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, applicable Good Distribution Practices, and customer requirements.
  • Support external audits including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, TAPA FSR-A, Sedex, and customer audits, and maintain related records.
  • Review and inspect facility related records including cleaning, maintenance, pest control, temperature monitoring, and other operational control documents to ensure compliance with established procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain an up-to-date and controlled QHSE documentation system, ensuring proper version control, record retention, and accessibility of procedures, forms, and operational records.
  • Perform internal inspections as assigned by the reporting manager in accordance with the approved inspection schedule, prepare inspection reports, and follow up on timely closure of observations and corrective actions.
  • Participate in customer complaint and non-conformance investigations by supporting warehouse and customer service teams in root cause analysis, preparation of Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) reports, and monitoring closure of actions.
  • Support the reporting manager in coordination and prompt action during product recall activities and other quality or compliance-related operational events.
  • Monitor contractor activities on site and support issuance and monitoring of Safe Work Permits for high-risk work such as work at height, hot work, electrical work, and confined space entry.
  • Participate in investigation of workplace incidents, near misses, unsafe conditions, and accidents, including root cause analysis and follow-up of corrective and preventive actions.
  • Support reporting Manager in coordination and prompt action in case of any recall operations for products.
  • Conduct ad-hoc inspections and walk-throughs to verify operational compliance within the warehouse.
  • Identify hazards, assess operational risks, and support implementation of risk control measures to prevent workplace injuries, product incidents, and operational disruptions.
  • Arrange third-party safety trainings, maintain training records, and conduct toolbox talks and QHSE awareness sessions for warehouse and transport personnel.
  • Monitor compliance with PPE requirements, safe equipment operation, housekeeping standards, and site safety procedures, and support emergency preparedness and response activities including drills, incident reporting, and coordination.
  • Support compliance monitoring of warehouse Value Added Services (labeling, repacking, kitting, inspection, etc.) as and when required.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support departments in development, implementation, and revision of operational and QHSE procedures, and perform other duties as assigned by the reporting manager.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the reporting manager.


Qualifications & Experience:


  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Engineering.
  • NEBOSH IGC or International Diploma (IDip); International Diploma preferred.
  • IRCA Approved Lead Auditor for ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.
  • Valid UAE driving license with own car is required.
  • 3–5 years of experience in warehouse and transport operations preferred.
  • Knowledge of Dangerous Goods (DG), SEDEX, TAPA, and FSMS will be an added advantage.
