Project Engineer

How You Will Contribute

• Execute HVAC installation, replacement, retrofit, and modernization projects from initiation through completion, ensuring delivery within scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards.
• Develop project execution plans, including manpower allocation, material planning, procurement coordination, and project scheduling.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including method statements, risk assessments, work procedures, and technical reports.
• Coordinate and obtain technical approvals, including material submittals, shop drawings, and engineering documentation.
• Review project contracts, specifications, and technical requirements, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and company standards.
• Liaise effectively with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor project progress, track milestones, manage project documentation, and support timely invoicing and commercial reporting.
• Monitor project costs against approved budgets and identify opportunities to optimize project performance and profitability.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality (HSEQ) requirements, promoting safe work practices and reporting all incidents in accordance with company procedures.
• Coordinate statutory approvals and permits, including RTA, Dubai Police, Mawafaq, and other relevant local authorities where applicable.
• Identify technical risks, resolve project issues proactively, and recommend practical engineering solutions to ensure successful project delivery.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives through value engineering and cost optimization during project execution.
  
  

What You Need To Succeed

• Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in HVAC project execution, preferably within commercial or industrial projects.
• Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, installation practices, commissioning, and retrofit projects.
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously while meeting quality, cost, and schedule objectives.
• Good understanding of construction contracts, project documentation, and contractual obligations.
• Working knowledge of health, safety, and risk management practices applicable to construction sites.
• Familiarity with UAE authority approval processes, including RTA, Mawafaq, Dubai Police, Civil Defence, and other relevant statutory authorities.
• Experience in value engineering and project cost control is an advantage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD; familiarity with project management software such as MS Project or Primavera is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently while effectively managing multiple priorities and deadlines
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to build effective working relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
• Excellent technical troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving abilities.
