Responsible for providing emergency and primary healthcare to resort guests, visitors and colleagues. Perform administrative duties pertaining to the provision of healthcare. Perform secondary duties related to the general health and safety operations and programs of the Resort and Employee Residences as needed.
About The Role
To provide rapid intervention and incident management in the event of emergencies.
To provide emergency medical care within the Resort and Employee residences.
To provide primary and ongoing healthcare to guests, visitor and employees.
To provide information relating to medical and health and safety incidents in the form of reports.
To assist with the implementation of the Resort and Employee Residence Emergency Operations Plan (EOP), with specific regard to sections pertaining to evacuation, triage, first aid and the role carried out by the paramedics.
To assist with occupational health and safety issues, in conjunction with the relevant department, thus maintaining health and safety standards.
To maintain clear, accurate and updated documents pertaining to patient care, medical, healthcare and safety issues.
To clearly and accurately communicate relevant information regarding patient condition and care when referring a patient for definitive care.
To remain current with new medical, health and safety developments through literature, discussion forums and continued medical education.
To attend any training, workshops or meetings as requested by the Manager Medical Services.
To adhere to Company policies and procedures at all times.
Not disclose any company information during or after employment.
To provide psychological crisis interventions and basic psychological counseling.
To consult with the designated medical director regarding patient care and treatment.
To inspect and maintain all medical and first aid equipment and effect minor repairs if required.
To maintain hygiene standards in the Clinic
Checking of all medicines and equipment in Paramedic Bags
Prepare and present First Aid, CPR and AED training to colleagues in accordance with the training format of the Resort.
To follow any additional instructions from the Manager Medical Services or the Director, Health and Safety
About You
Years’ experience: 5 years
Qualification: Paramedic / Advanced Paramedic
Strong interpersonal skills
Organizational skills
Strong administrative abilities

Leadership abilities
Strong communication skills
Excellent verbal and written English
