Department Overview
The Neurodevelopmental Services Program is a part of the Mental Health Continuum at Children’s Minnesota. Neurodevelopmental Services is focused on providing assessment, diagnosis and care for children with a variety of neurodevelopmental and medical conditions. The team is comprised of psychologists, neuropsychologists and developmental behavioral pediatricians and we work closely with providers across the mental health continuum and with specialty medical providers throughout our organization. Neuropsychological assessment is provided across both the Minneapolis and St. Paul campuses, and this role will be located primarily in St. Paul.
Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate pediatric neuropsychologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be experienced in providing assessment and diagnostic services for children and adolescents with a variety of neurodevelopmental, neurological and psychological conditions. The neuropsychologist will complete comprehensive evaluations, synthesize and interpret results and provide feedback and guidance to caregivers, referring providers, educational teams and other stakeholders. An ideal candidate will have experience with assessment and diagnosis of autism, as well as experience providing comprehensive assessment for children and adolescents with a wide range of medical and neurodevelopmental conditions (e.g. autism, ADHD, FASD, learning disabilities, intellectual disability, etc.). This position offers the opportunity to build more direct assessment services for specialty clinics/patient populations such as neurofibromatosis, HIV, craniofacial conditions and others).
