Description

We’re seeking a Medical Assistant to work directly with our physicians and clinical team to provide hands-on patient care throughout the day. In this role, you’ll assist with exams, procedures, and treatments while helping ensure a smooth and positive experience for every patient.

Schedule: Monday–Friday | No Nights | No Weekends

Medical Assistant Essential Functions/Responsibilities (other Duties May Be Assigned)

  • Room patients, take vitals, update histories, and prepare them for exams
  • Assist providers with in-office procedures, injections, wound care, and treatments
  • Apply DME/strappings, take X-rays, and support lab specimen processing
  • Keep exam rooms stocked, clean, and instruments sterilized
  • Answer phones, schedule appointments, and manage provider calendars
  • Support patient check-in/out and provide excellent customer service
  • Verify insurance/referrals, collect copays, and update patient records in the EMR
  • Assist with orthotics tracking, billing follow-up, and end-of-day documentation

Medical Assistant Required Skills And Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Completion of an MA program or 2+ years of clinical experience
  • CMA or RMA certification preferred (not required)
  • Strong communication, multitasking, and patient service skills
  • Comfortable using EMR systems and basic insurance processes
  • Team-oriented and flexible in a busy clinic environment
  • Technologically savvy; proficient in Microsoft 365 products, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams

  • Lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and carry objects weighing up to 25 pounds
  • Maintain peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustments
