To execute the material planning and requisition process on behalf of dnata Technical Services, ensuring alignment with defined specifications and item codes, in close coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
In This Role You Will
Raise and execute Purchase Requisitions (PR) for ad hoc material requirements and external repair jobs, including agency and accident repairs. This includes creating item codes in the Maintenance Management System (MMS), ensuring accurate descriptions, and avoiding duplication by reviewing existing codes.
Handle inventory and material delivery issues, including cancellation of PRs and Purchase Orders (POs). Coordinate with Maintenance and Workshop teams to ensure quotations are approved within their validity period. Follow up with Tail Spend and Procurement teams to fast-track pending quotes.
Process Goods receipt notes for repaired items and validate shipping invoices. Prepare weekly and monthly material planning reports to support operational efficiency and ensure accurate tracking of resources.
Assist stakeholders with special projects by gathering relevant data, conducting research, and generating reports or drawings as needed to support continuous improvement initiatives across teams.
Qualification
To be considered for the role, you must meet the below requirements:
10 Years schooling or equivalent
2+ yrs experience in the field of material planning and inventory management.
Knowledge of material planning and inventory management from recognised service providers.
Computer Literacy specifically Microsoft Office applications.
Proficient understanding of maintenance/material planning practices.
English Language Skills - Level 4.
Good interpersonal skills to deal with multiple stakeholders.
