We are looking for a Marketing Director to lead Payfutures global marketing strategy and execution. This senior leadership role will be instrumental in positioning Payfuture as the gateway of choice for merchants and clients seeking cross-border transaction solutions and banking services. Based in Dubai or London, you will oversee a high-performing team, design a go-to-market strategy, and drive brand awareness through innovative initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy & Leadership
Develop and execute a go-to-market (GTM) strategy from a marketing perspective, targeting merchants and clients seeking payment gateway services, cross border solutions, or banking services
Build a marketing roadmap balancing quick wins with long-term industry positioning, aligned to Payfutures growth objectives
Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing marketing team across multiple regions
Brand & Market Positioning
Define Payfutures unique positioning as an industry leader in emerging markets, ensuring a differentiated voice across global fintech conversations
Drive brand awareness through innovative and creative initiatives, exploring channels, campaigns, and partnerships that stand out from industry norms
Manage external communications, PR, media relations, and thought leadership initiatives to strengthen credibility
Campaigns & Demand Generation
Map out and execute a comprehensive marketing plan including industry events, digital campaigns, PR, and tailored sales enablement materials
Lead the creation of digital content, thought leadership, and performance marketing campaigns to fuel demand generation
Partner with the sales team to optimise lead generation, pipeline acceleration, and client acquisition
Market Intelligence & Growth
Conduct research to identify industry targets and opportunities in both the short term (quick wins) and long term (strategic markets)
Continuously track industry trends, competitor activity, and regulatory changes to inform go-to-market strategy
Represent Payfuture at high-profile industry events and position leadership as key voices in the sector
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
Proven track record (10+ years) in senior marketing roles, ideally within fintech or payments
Expertise in building go-to-market strategies and positioning companies for scale in international and emerging markets
Demonstrated success in driving brand awareness through creative and unconventional marketing approaches
Strong background in digital marketing, B2B demand generation, PR, and content strategy
Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Experience working across international markets, with an understanding of cultural nuances
