Logistics Coordinator

Industry & Sector: Management consulting and business services focused on operational excellence and supply chain transformation across the UAE and GCC. We support client engagements and internal operations by delivering efficient logistics, vendor coordination, and compliant import/export processes.

Primary Job Title (standardized): Logistics Coordinator

Role & Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end inbound and outbound shipments—book carriers, confirm schedules, and manage freight cost allocation to maximise on-time delivery.
• Prepare, review, and manage shipping documentation (B/L, AWB, commercial invoice, packing list) and ensure customs compliance with UAE import/export regulations.
• Liaise with freight forwarders, carriers, customs brokers, and warehouse teams to resolve exceptions, expedite shipments, and minimise demurrage/detention costs.
• Monitor daily shipment status and inventory levels; update stakeholders with accurate ETAs and proactive escalation of delays or discrepancies.
• Maintain carrier and vendor performance data, generate logistics KPIs and regular operational reports to identify cost-saving and process-improvement opportunities.
• Support warehouse operations: coordinate receiving, put-away, cycle counts, and basic inventory reconciliation to ensure stock accuracy and order fulfilment.

• Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Proven experience working in logistics, freight forwarding, or warehouse operations within the UAE/GCC market.
• Valid UAE work authorization and flexibility to work on-site across UAE locations as required.
