Shipping Planning & Execution:

• Develop and manage shipping schedules for FCL, LCL, Airfreight, and Courier shipments.
• Monitor order readiness, track shipments, and provide real-time visibility to customers.
  
  
  

Documentation & Compliance:

• Ensure accuracy and completeness of all shipping documents.
• Dispatch shipping documents to relevant international destinations.
• Maintain compliance with customs and government regulations, including VAT documentation.
  
  
  

Supplier & 3PL Coordination:

• Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, and customers to secure competitive rates and timely deliveries.
• Source new suppliers/forwarders and obtain ad-hoc quotations.
• Conduct RFQs for long-term agreements with freight forwarders, couriers, and local transport providers.
  
  
  

Cost Analysis & Procurement:

• Perform data analysis and compare bids from 3PLs and courier companies; recommend awards.
• Issue purchase orders or contracts to selected suppliers.
• Validate 3PL and courier invoices and execute customer billing.
  
  
  

Performance & Reporting:

• Manage claims related to shipping processes.
• Report cost savings initiatives and ensure delivery of KPI targets.
• Maintain accurate records for audit and compliance purposes.
  
  
  

Mobility needs you

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years in logistics, with hands-on expertise in managing inbound/outbound shipping documents and handling import/export customs clearances.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in SAP and advanced Excel is essential.
• Preferred Expertise: Background in vendor management, sourcing, shipping, procurement, and contracting.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of shipping terms, customs regulations, and compliance requirements across the Middle East, Europe, and China.
• Documentation & Approvals: Experience in managing Letters of Credit, shipping documentation, TRA approvals, and liaising with authorities such as Dubai Chamber and MOFA.
• Coordination Skills: Ability to effectively collaborate with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and customers to ensure seamless operations.
• Core Competencies: Detail-oriented, analytical thinker with a customer-focused and quality-driven approach.
