Job Purpose
Responsible for managing the global material and logistic planning for Lucy Electric Plant.
The role is responsible working with Manufacturing operations director to create, plan, implement and monitor the supply chain strategy for Lucy Electric global operations to maximize efficiency and productivity.
Work closely with the Sales and factory organization in supporting the product delivery at shortest possible lead times to customers. Responsible for SOP document on monthly basis, based on the Lucy Electric factory and supplier capacity and lead times.
Ensure cost effective shipping of materials and products across all the plants and to end customers.
Work closely with Global and Local Purchasing managers, quality, engineering, production and sales teams. Advise local supply chain mangers, Plant directors and operations managers on material, inventory and shipping plans.

Key Accountabilities
Strategy formulation
- Accountable for working with the Manufacturing Operations Director to produce the global Supply chain strategy, identify key goals and initiatives that will enable manufacturing plants to support the sales to deliver products on time in full with least possible lead time.
- Understand the capacities of Lucy Electric suppliers globally, monitor supply OTIF and ensure the availably of materials to all plants
- Implement a visual supply chain management to support a data lead decision
- Guarantee the delivery of the business strategy, by ensuring all supply chain team members have regular performance management meetings with their managers.
- Innovation: All Cost Reduction, CI Projects with defined Targets as per Budgeted smart objectives.
Strategy formulation measured by Budget V.S. Actual, Customer complaints, OTIF (On-time-in-full), New model introduction, Succession planning, Sustainable organization, Inventory optimization, Cost reductions
Efficiency
- Improve production and supplier efficiency by continuous improvement
- As per rolling MTP Plan
- Oversee and direct the planning, implementation of material delivery for new or existing products.
- Create a flexible team to manage the production requirements based on the SOP

Revenue, Cost & Profitability
- Optimize S&OP planning to meet customer requirements with reduced supply chain and manufacturing lead times both internally and externally
- Oversee all aspects of inventory management to optimize inventory targets; drive inventory reduction program
- Manage relationships with suppliers to ensure on-time in-full delivery targets are achieved.
- Manage the supply chain costs and budgets; strive to improve the overall financial and key performance indicators of the business.

Job Context
The position is responsible to implement the global supply chain strategy to support the Lucy electric manufacturing plants to deliver the best in class lead time product with reduced costs to customers, managing internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
Qualifications, Experience & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree or above in management, electrical, mechanical, industrial engineering or related fields.
- Understand manufacturing business, people management, supply chain management, quality management, and innovation.
Minimum Experience
- Possess experience in middle or senior management min. 10-15 years.
