Freelance Video Editor

[ABOUT THE ROLE]

A TikTok video creator and growth manager is required to produce and refine short-form video content that boosts followers, engagement, and book sales for a self-published author on Amazon KDP. The role includes creating and editing 1–3 videos daily, improving rhythm, transitions, and captions, and optimizing content for the TikTok algorithm. Weekly reports on views, engagement, and conversions will be expected. The project is ongoing, with initial results anticipated within two weeks, and has the potential for long-term collaboration if successful. Example videos and preferred editing styles will be provided as references.

Requirements

• Proven experience in TikTok content creation and short-form video editing
• Skills in motion design and proficiency with tools such as Canva, CapCut, and After Effects
• Familiarity with captioning tools like Submagic or Klap.app for dynamic and engaging subtitles
• Strong understanding of TikTok’s algorithm, trends, and viral marketing strategies
• Ability to create and edit 1–3 videos daily with consistent quality and creativity
• Capacity to analyze performance and report on engagement, reach, and conversions weekly
• Availability for ongoing collaboration with an initial focus on results within two weeks
