Floor Manager

Role Overview

The Floor Manager is responsible for overseeing daily front-of-house operations, ensuring exceptional guest experience, smooth service flow, and adherence to brand and service standards. This role acts as the key link between service staff, kitchen, and management during operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily floor operations during service hours
• Ensure high standards of guest service and hospitality at all times
• Supervise, support, and motivate service staff (waiters, hosts, bartenders)
• Handle guest feedback, complaints, and special requests professionally
• Coordinate closely with kitchen and bar to ensure smooth service flow
• Monitor table turns, reservations, and seating arrangements
• Ensure grooming, hygiene, and uniform standards are maintained
• Conduct pre-shift briefings and post-shift handovers
• Monitor sales performance and upselling initiatives
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and company policies
• Support Restaurant Manager with reporting and operational tasks
  
  

• Proven experience as a Floor Manager or Supervisor in hospitality
• Background in high-end or fine-dining restaurants preferred
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Excellent communication and guest-handling skills
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Good knowledge of service standards and hospitality etiquette
• Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus)
