We are seeking an experienced Event Manager – Forex & Fintech to plan, coordinate, and execute regional and international industry events. This role encompasses managing sponsorships, booth design, logistics, speaker coordination, branded materials, and media delivery.
The successful candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, take ownership of event budgets, and manage vendor relationships to ensure high-quality, cost-effective execution. This hands-on role requires a detail-oriented professional capable of managing multiple complex events while representing the brand on-site. Regular travel is required.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, coordinate, and execute complex, multi‑stakeholder events across regional and international markets within the forex and fintech sectors.
Negotiate sponsorship packages, finalize contracts, and secure internal approvals in coordination with compliance and legal teams.
Collaborate with marketing, design, content, social media, and project management teams to ensure alignment on event deliverables, branding, and messaging.
Lead booth design development: manage contractor coordination, approve artwork and layouts, and oversee production of booth and supporting materials.
Coordinate speaker arrangements, including documentation, registration, scheduling, and on‑site support.
Source and manage branded giveaways, overseeing production, storage, and distribution to ensure quality and timely delivery in line with event timelines.
Oversee real‑time delivery of media assets to internal teams during events to support marketing and social media coverage.
Lead and support the internal events team on-site, ensuring clear assignment of responsibilities and effective execution.
Manage on-ground operations at key industry events: vendor coordination, booth setup, team support; ensuring a high-quality experience for clients and visitors.
Budget & Operational Ownership
Manage budgets for all events, sponsorships, and branded materials to ensure cost-effective allocation of resources.
Track and reconcile expenses accurately and maintain alignment with finance and marketing guidelines.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of invoices, quotes, payments, and contractual agreements.
Develop and optimize vendor relationships to ensure consistent quality, cost‑efficiency, and operational effectiveness across all events.
Qualifications & Skills
Experience & Knowledge
Proven experience in event management or brand marketing, preferably within financial services, Forex, or fintech industries.
Strong understanding of the forex and fintech sectors and awareness of industry event best practices.
Demonstrated experience managing budgets, vendors, and cross‑functional coordination.
