The company currently employs over 500 construction experts located throughout the UAE, with an unparalleled skillset covering finance, architecture, design, mechanical and electrical engineering, as well as project management. Summary

The Environmental Engineer is responsible for implementing and monitoring environmental management programs across construction projects. The role ensures full compliance with UAE environmental regulations, ISO 14001 standards, and company sustainability policies. This position focuses on reducing environmental impact through effective waste management, pollution control, energy efficiency, and environmental reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement Environmental Management Plans (EMP) and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct environmental inspections and audits, monitoring air, water, and waste management practices.
  • Lead waste segregation, recycling, and pollution prevention initiatives.
  • Prepare and submit environmental performance reports to management and authorities.
  • Deliver training and awareness sessions to promote sustainability culture on project sites.
  • Coordinate with HSE and Quality teams to ensure integrated management practices.
  • Recommend innovative solutions for continuous improvement in sustainability and compliance.

Job requirements

Experience

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in Environmental Engineer within the construction industry.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental engineering, Environmental Science, or related field.
  • 4–6 years of environmental management experience in the construction industry.
  • Strong understanding of ISO 14001, environmental legislation, and sustainability practices.
  • Skilled in environmental monitoring, auditing, and reporting.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
