About the Role

• AfterQuery is seeking Compliance Officer Experts to create and refine regulatory compliance challenges for training AI models. In this remote, flexible role, you will design and evaluate compliance scenarios that test the AIs ability to interpret and apply complex regulatory principles, ensuring that our models can navigate real-world compliance monitoring, risk assessment, and regulatory requirements with precision and practical insight. Your expertise will help bridge the gap between proven compliance practice and innovative AI solutions, making a tangible impact on the future of regulatory technology.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality compliance questions and case studies that challenge AI models on topics such as regulatory interpretation, risk assessment, policy development, audit procedures, reporting requirements, investigation processes, ethics programs, and more.
• Evaluate and validate model responses, offering detailed feedback to ensure accuracy and adherence to compliance best practices and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with a team of compliance and technical experts to fine-tune question difficulty and ensure content is both challenging and educational.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a compliance officer, compliance manager, or in regulatory compliance with a robust understanding of regulatory frameworks and compliance processes.
• Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Law, or related field.
• Exceptional analytical, written, and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.

Required Skills

• Multiple years of compliance experience, ideally across diverse regulatory environments (financial services, healthcare, corporate, etc.).
• Prior involvement in compliance training, policy development, or regtech initiatives.
• Professional certifications (CRCM, CCEP, CAMS, etc.) or advanced degree (JD, MBA) is a plus.
• Familiarity with AI or technology-driven compliance applications is a plus.
