Job Purpose:

Provide vision, directions, leadership and management for the operations division, and direct the daily scheduling and planning of MDM Group operations. Lead the organisation’s operations to achieve the highest level of productivity and net profit, quality standards and cost control through an effective P&L strategic planning, resource development and innovative solutions.

• Oversee MDM Group operations to secure the functionality of the business to drive extensive and sustainable growth.
• Direct the organisations yearly strategic business plans, which enable the achievement of MDM Groups mission and objectives. 
• Lead the development and implementation of all operations’ activities, including the Business Units/ Divisions. 
• Lead the development of new business opportunities, new developments and/or the organisation’s re-engineering process.
• Leading the operations management review meeting to ensure the implementation is done on time, effectively and efficiently as per the company vision, policy, rules and regulations.
• Lead the development of the operations divisions objectives, managing performance, developing and motivating staff, providing formal and informal feedback and appraisal in order to ensure that the highest level of performance is achieved.
• Ensure the uniform implementation across all divisions of all relevant operational policies and procedures in order to deliver a quality, cost-effective service to internal and external customers.
• Lead cost optimisation initiatives/projects within the organization as well as assigned divisions.
• Direct the development of the companys business network, supply chain management, source allocation and share service activities. 
• Monitor organization and performance through the Key Performance Indicator “KPI” of the operations against defined targets so that areas of unsatisfactory performance are identified, rectified promptly and potential performance improvement opportunities are timely addressed.
• Direct warehouses logistics activities to ensure that customers receive high quality service within agreed timescales and at minimum cost to the business.
• Execute the organization’s policies and procedures for the Operations functions.
• Exercise efficient supervision and control over the company operations through effective service standards, regulations, safety norms, and quality standards.
• Adopt various states of art technologies to optimize resources and improve efficiency. 
•  Audit and approve consultants, outsourcing contractors in coordination with the respective divisions.
• Utilize and mobilize available company resources, through liaison with support divisions, other offices, or subsidiaries, to create project teams capable of completing effective quality work.
• Represent MDM Group in relevant local and international conferences and activities in relation to operational work and as per need and instructed.
• Participate in expansion activities (investments, acquisitions, corporate alliances etc.)
• Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as assigned by the CEO.
  

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. 
• 10+ years of experience in managing an operations function in an organization.
• Strong organizational skills, business development, project management and auditing skills.
• Demonstrate excellent knowledge of operational management and procedure, employee development, financial, budgeting, P&L and strategic planning processes. 
• Fluency in spoken and written English. Arabic required.
