About The Role

A global consulting firm is supporting a leading international bank with a significant presence in the GCC region in its search for a Chief Credit Officer. This is a senior executive appointment with responsibility for credit leadership across multiple geographies.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the bank's credit function across multiple geographies within the GCC region.
• Define and drive credit strategy in alignment with the bank's overall risk appetite and business objectives.
• Ensure robust credit governance frameworks are in place and consistently applied.
• Oversee credit portfolio performance, monitoring quality, concentration, and risk-adjusted returns.
• Engage and manage relationships with senior internal and external stakeholders, including regulators, board members, and business line leaders.
  
  

Skills & Experience

• Minimum 15 years of experience within an international bank of significant scale.
• Demonstrated leadership of credit functions spanning multiple geographies.
• Strong track record across credit strategy, governance, portfolio oversight, and stakeholder management.
• Deep familiarity with the GCC banking environment is advantageous.
