Carpenter

Job Summary & Purpose:

To provide better services to the clients (stores) and make them satisfactory by completing their requirements. To attend carpentry calls in all over the stores in UAE such as repairing locks, replacing locks, repairing rails, hinges, wheels, handles, making cupboards, shelves, drawer units, work stations, repairing gypsum false ceilings, fixing doors, minor glass&aluminium repair works, shifting and relocating fixtures, arranging materials from one store to another as per the store request, arranging materials from local market for replacing the faulty fittings/making new units etc. Work include day and night.

Key Performance Areas (KPAs) & Principal Accountabilities

1 Repair&Maintenance of all kinds of doors, locks& its accessories

2 Repair&Maintenance of all kinds of fixtures/cupboards etc.

3 Making new wooden units/cupboards

4 Refurbishments of fixtures

5 Arranging and installation of fixtures in stores

6 Repair&maintenance of metal fixtures

7 Repair&maintenance of gypsum works

8 Shifting &re-arranging work stations in offices

9 Providing assistance to Electrician/Painter whenever needs service

10 Prepare a material request on the basis of store inspection and get approval from SM/DM

11 Forwarding the material request to MM for further approval

12 Arranging the materials from local market when and where requires for the work

Qualitative Requirements

Experience (Yrs. & Field) : 1-3 Years minimum experience in carpentry field

Educational Qualification : SSLC-Preferable

Skills & Abilities:

Knowledge on fixtures and understanding of the material.
